Should soft drugs be decriminalised.

I strongly believe that soft drugs should not be decriminalised because if New zealand decriminalised drugs more people will take drugs and get high and do stupid things. If drugs are decriminalised then people can go and buy harmful drugs at the shops easily. The next generation would all be taking drugs and then the next and next until drugs becomes a social thing. How will New Zealand be in the future? Drugs are harmful and it affects your live negatively. People who take  drugs mainly take it because they lack self of steam and instead of taking drugs because of this they can see a therapist or a doctor or even talk to someone.  People who think that drugs should be decriminalised think that New Zealand would get more tax and get richer but I think the are just putting money first instead of people’s safety. These are only some of the problems I am sure that there are lots of other reasons too.
